The partners in the Jubilee and TEN oil fields, including Tullow Oil, Kosmos Energy, PetroSA, the Ghana National Petroleum Company (GNPC), and Explorco, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Ghana to extend the production licenses for the West Cape Three Points (WCTP) and Deep Water Tano (DWT) blocks to 2040
Explorco is planning to drill its first exploration well in the Voltaian Basin in the first quarter of 2026. This marks the first drilling activity in the basin since 1974. The Voltaian Basin is a frontier area with significant potential, and Explorco is seeking strategic partners to help develop it.
